After installing the app on another device (which is registered on my apple account) and logging in, now i cannot use the app on none of my phones, and that smooth device removal that Corjan was talking about just went to shit.

After installing the app on another device (which is registered on my apple account) and logging in, now i cannot use the app on none of my phones, and that smooth device removal that Corjan was talking about just went to shit.


@Adrian-Avram To avoid this undesirable scenario, I deleted the app from the iPad and created a shortcut to the website on the desktop instead.

Yesterday on the faire in Utrecht I demonstrated several times that having 3 devices is no issue. I Log of one of them and can use the other 2
Just like Corjan already stated, send in a ticket and they can help you. I guess you want to much -

We can’t magically distinguish perhaps normal (still unallowed) personal high device usage from sharing your account with others.
It’s an inconvenience we have to roll out. We aint happy with it too but we have to. Sorry

By design we don’t deploy such an update in peak season.

@Cleo As long as you stay within max 3 devices this is never a problem. Preparation for a trip is a bit more then bringing along clean underwear, fuel for your bike and a place to sleep. How big are the chances that you go out for a trip with a brand new device and never tested it at home. My guess, slim. With other apps you don't have the luxury of having max 3 devices on witch you can run a fantastic app.

@Marinus-van-Deudekom What you've written may be partially correct.
Having only two active devices is not the problem either.
However, I don't necessarily see the need to test a new phone, especially since each of us has probably bought a new phone many times before, and once all the apps are set up, I assume that the device works.
The annoying issue is that the account is immediately blocked without any warning when you try to register a fourth device with the app.
A simple note would be helpful for everyone.
“Please note that your account will be blocked immediately when you proceed.”
Please log out of another device beforehand so as not to exceed the maximum allowed number.
This would avoid a lot of trouble and frustration!

Don't defent a stupid decision, as a company they have to embrace there customers, there are a lot of other apps, include website support to make a route, in the wild.
It's stupid to block an account, it doesn't mather how you think about it, i as user want to use the app without the change that i can't travel further because it's blocked.How people can defent a stupid bussiness decission is very strange for me
