Maps loading slow

Not sure if I am the only one, but for me using the webplanner, some of the maps take much longer to load than others, or they dont load completely. The OPenStreet map and the Google maps load relatively quickly, while the others take a long time or dont load completely.
Is it me ?
Also, are we able to add other maps ? I would love to see the maps that are in the DMD2 app available in MRA. Those are beautiful maps with a lot of helpful detail. The OSM in MRA is pretty plain by comparison.

@Stephan-Dornberg I think it was a temporary glitch. All maps load quickly for me.

@Stephan-Dornberg I think it was a temporary glitch. All maps load quickly for me.
@Rob-Verhoeff Not for me, and it has always been like this for me and continues to be so now.

You're probably referring to DMD's "offroad" map with its nicely colour-graded tracks:
It's an OSM map with a customised rendering theme; it's an approach used by many other apps on the market - no rocket science. According to recent posts, DMD will implement a feature that lets users create their own themes, configuring what to see, at which zoom level, and in which style. For both the web planner and the app - that's going really wild...
However, if we can see all these tracks, we likely want to route them, and that's where things get tricky. DMD uses BRouter as a routing engine with highly customised routing profiles. I don't know if there are other options.
More support for off-road routing has been requested many times; let's see what the MRA new web planner will offer. It's under development for about a year now, and expectations are high
