Carplay - screen info

Hi!

Is there a way to get some more information and functional in the carplay screen? Specifically i’m looking for:

• toggle distance/time to next way point/ end point
• roundabouts: which exit? (I don’t care the symbol indicates the rough angle, i prefer to count exists
• distance to next fuel station

@Michiel-Huiskes, Toggling ETA to next WP or destination is done through the menu. Tap the screen once to get to the menu button. Alternative is to tap the ETA box on your phones screen, the AA/CP screen will follow that action.

The roundabouts, truly I don't remember if the exit number is small in there. I would think so, but in case of AA/CP screens perhaps not. But for me personally even the rough angle is not leading, the route line itself is much easier to follow because it relates to the reality in front of you.

Distance to next fuel station will hopefully be in some future version.

Hi Con, thanks for your response. Next time I'm riding I'll see if I can find the menu button to toggle. It seems a shame I need my phone to make changes. The idea (as far as I understand it) of CarPlay/androidAuto is you avoid interacting with your phone

@Michiel-Huiskes, The idea of CP/AA os more to prevent distraction. But sometimes the limitations are cause for extra distraction of you steel need to take out your phone (which is inadvisable of course!) Anyway, for this toggle you don't need your phone. The menu is behind the gear icon.

Coming back at your first question. In my AA (car) I indeed see a small exit number in the roundabout icon

What I´m actually still miss in CarPlay is the actual hight and the "next gas station icon" like shown on the normal app. Will this implement in a next update?

There is a number on the roundabout symbol but it is very small. Even on my 7" carpuride. It would be great if a larger number came up on top of the symbol.
