Why does this happen?

Today I was around trying the app, I was always offline, there was a moment when I changed the itinerary in the planner, then I activated the data to synchronise the library, I uploaded the itinerary and this happened that you see in Photo, can you tell me why?!

@Aiello-antonino more details here & ways to work around it "Navigation Option Show "Original Route" Does Not Display Consistently"

So, from what I read in the other post, if you edit a path in the Planner, you have to activate the data connection for the app (why are we talking about Wi-Fi?, do you have to be under Wi-Fi?), synchronise the library and then you can open the app to start the path, at that moment you can return to offline mode... correct what I write?

@Aiello-antonino that is correct in case of not having synced the routes before. If all routes are synced you fon”t need a wifi or other internet connection

But isn't the phone's data connection enough to synchronise?

@Aiello-antonino I think some people don’t have enough date connection, or their contract does not allow data connection, hence they use the offline mode. That is probably the reason why here Wi-fi is specifically mentioned. In my opinion the mobile phone data connection is enough.

@Aiello-antonino Yes it is but sometimes the data reception is poor of non existant

Ok thanks for your answers!
