Why isn't the route being followed as planned?

Why doesn't a route planned in the web browser follow the same route in the app? It was driven exactly according to the instructions, with no deviations.
@Sanktjohanser well it does. Of its planned good you have a nice day. But not good enough anything can happen

A good route in your navigation device depends a good planned route.
Just like Marinus said. How it is planned is the first suspect.Can you share the route as a public route. We all can look at it and maybe tell you what went wrong.

@Sanktjohanser, most likely not enough waypoints, also traffic info throwing the route off, seasonal closures?
