Unable to calculate route

Hi
I was out on a ride today, I stopped for coffee and when I tried to start the nav I got a msg saying 'no internet, go offline' which I did, I then got this msg saying it couldn't route offline and I needed to go online!
I had to use the TomTom app to get me out of trouble
I thought this should work offline, why this experience?
Yes I have offline maps downloaded on the device.

@Rob-Kelley happened to me yesterday, I drove for 20 km on the highway and the app couldnt do a route calculation ....

@Rob-Kelley That is why it didn't work. As far as I know you need to have an active internet for such a trip.

Just tested it and with no internet I was able to let the app calculate a route to one of my favourites. So I don't know why it didn't work for RobHonda Goldwing GL1500,

Just tested it and with no internet I was able to let the app calculate a route to one of my favourites. So I don't know why it didn't work for Rob@Marinus-van-Deudekom it doesn't do it all the time, it's random.

Did you download the offline maps you want to use. It looks like when you update the offline cards this setting is set to off.
