WP setting problem online/offline

I am on the road. I have defined a short journey with the MRA app based on a destination (start/finish). This is done online. Routing is set to online at this time. So I'm on the road. In the middle of the journey I want to add a WP via the routing menu (...). I am offline due to lack of network. All maps are available offline.
The problem: at the time of adding the WP, the app behaves completely normally, acting as if the WP is being added. But it won't. The tour remains as it is. The WP is not displayed to me either.

My expectation was that the tour would be recalculated.
As soon as I am online again, I can insert the WP and it is also recognised in the routing.

Question to the professionals, is this an error or have I done something wrong in my settings?

The App Version is 4.3.1 on Android 13

@Motobummler if your route was an senic trip, you can’t add waypoints. Basicly it’s a track with start and finish

@Motobummler : Hey eine einfache schnelle Route dann so erstellen Offline damit .

Wenn die Route dann z.B. zu Start und Ziel hat kann man jederzeit mit dem Finger auf der Karten den neuen Routenpunkt hinzufügen. Die Stelle Zoomen und Finger länger drauf halten, und schon ist der WP hinzugefügt.

If the route then has, for example, to start and finish, you can add the new route point at any time with your finger on the maps. Zoom in and hold your finger on it for longer, and the WP is added.

No, that wasn't a Senic tour. I looked for an address as a destination in the app and started the tour from the current location. During this trip I looked for another address via the ... and entered it as a WP. Only in the tour, started as online and during the network failure it no longer works. The app says that the WP is entered, but it isn't there. You can easily set it up without driving. Simply plan the tour with the network and insert the WP in flight mode.

Ich fürchte das ich mich nicht richtig ausdrücke.

Ich suche im online Modus eine Adresse als Ziel und starte diese tour. Jetzt simulierst du einen Netzausfall durch den Flugmodus. Karte ist natürlich offline verfügbar . Durch die drei ... rechts unten suchst du eine neue Adresse die du vor deinem Ziel anfahren möchtest. Du fügst die Adresse als WP hinzu. Die App sagt auch das sie das gemacht hat. Nur über die Route anzeigen oder WP Liste anzeigen ist dieser WP nicht vorhanden. Die Route wurde auch nicht verändert.

Machst du das jetzt wie beschrieben ausschließlich im online Modus funktioniert es einwandfrei. Man kann das einfach nachstellen.

@Motobummler Welche Option hast du für diese Adresse benutzt, die direkte oder einer der Kurvenreichen?

Die Option einer der Kurvenreichen Strcke erzeugt einen Track (we oben schon erklärt) und lässt keinen weiteren Wegpunkt zu.

@Jörgen verdammt, Du hast recht . Dieser kleine aber sehr wichtige Hinweis von dir ist das Problem bzw. die Ursache meiner Beobachtung. Vielen Dank dafür. Ich hatte anscheinend, weiß es nicht mehr genau, eine Option der Route ausgewählt und bin nicht auf direkten Weg gefahren.
Sobald ich eine Option wähle kann ich auch die Route speichern und dann wieder bearbeiten, einen WP hinzufügen etc..

Das muss man wissen. Danke an alle. Aber jetzt habe ich das verinnerlicht.

Ja, das ist ein wichtiger Punkt, der nicht allen bekannt ist und leider nicht bei Benutzung klar und deutlich dem Nutzer vermittelt wird.

@Corjan-Meijerink the differences between Route and Track by using an A to B ride needs a better user information. It still happens that user misunderstand this and wonder if they can not add waypoints at curvy roads. The curvy options need a visible sign that they only tracks.
