Why a CarPlay or Android Auto Display inside a car (if it is not build in)?
You need another device to feed the display, you need to power up two devices, need two places, why not using this device (a smartphone) directly?
What should be the advantage of this?My Seat has CarPlay, so no issue for me. But sometimes I use the iPhone directly.

Ich nutze im Auto auch das iPhone Xr indem ich es einfach klick auf die Magnetische Halterung lege.
Geht sehr gut, Strom sollte msn aber über einen USB bei längerer Fahrt doch anschließen.
Das Handy kann weiteres unterstützen das hilft bei der Fahrt in Zonen

Well, the issue is that my iPhone connects with my cars audio system and with this, I do not hear any spoken directions by MyRoute Next Nav unless I set my cars entertainment system to media, but then can't listen to radio.And I thought that using Apple Car Play on a Carpuride would result into easier handling/navigating apps?
I was triggered by the below YouTube video to get a Carpuride (see below).

Nun, das Problem ist, dass mein iPhone mit dem Audiosystem meines Autos verbunden ist und ich dadurch keine Wegbeschreibung von MyRoute Next Nav höre, es sei denn, ich stelle das Entertainmentsystem meines Autos auf Medien ein, aber dann kann ich kein Radio hören.Und ich dachte, dass die Verwendung von Apple Car Play auf einem Carpuride zu einer einfacheren Handhabung/Navigation von Apps führen würde?
Ich wurde durch dieses YouTube-Video auf die Carpuride-Lösung aufmerksam gemacht:

- MRA Routing und dazu die Anweisungen
- Radioplayer der hat alle Sender und kaum Datenverbrauch , lässt sich sogar über die Weiter Taste des Auto- Radios auf den nächsten Sender umstellen
- Spotify wenn nichts am Radio
- usw. alles was uns hilft und begeistert
Die Ansage von MRA wird eingeblendet und danach wieder auf Audio / Radio usw.
So mache ich das, inkl. eines Kurzbefehls der alle Apps beim Bluetooth- Koppeln automatisch startet, damit brauchst Du nichts machen außer dein neues Ziel in die MRA einzugeben …
MRA dabei als letztes damit ich die Route sehe
Alles geht sehr gut

Klasse, lieben Dank, habs auch gerade so gefunden und eingerichtet, wobei Du noch ein paar Sachen machst, die ich noch zusätzlich verwenden werde

2.) Automation mit Kurzbefehl
3.) da stellst Du die Ebene zur Bearbeitung ein
Kurzbefehle … damit muss Di mal testen bzw. dir ErklärVideos suchen

@Jörgen so my last vacation I tested using solely the iPhone and it worked well, except a few things that I did report in a different post. Some things were pretty annoying so that I now will test a Carpuride device with Apple Car Play to see if I am more satisfied. I'll let you know then, if and why I think it will have benefits with another device (or not).
