Additional map details in HERE maps
-
Is there any way to turn on addional details in the HERE mapset? I was using Garmin Basecamp and there is a setting to get more granular with details. I like to see additional roads other than just the major ones.

@BriSco Yes, use one of the overlay maps. If you have a Gold subscription you have many to choose from but even a basic subscription gives you the OpenStreetMap and Michelin overlay maps.

@Nick-Carthew Thanks! I'll give that a try. Yes Gold subscription.

@BriSco The overlay maps have no effect on the route calculation, think of them as clear sheets with extra information that you lay over the planning map.

@Nick-Carthew I gave it a try, that is exactly what I was looking for. I somehow missed the layers icon.
I'm still learning...Thanks again!

just like in BC, the more you zoom in, the more minor roads you will see...

@Guzt By the way, it would be great to be able to set in the options the default layer used in the planner, now I have to change it every time I open the route for editing.
