Adding notes to shaping points?

Evening everyone, I use the Navigation app via Carplay on my Carpuride 7" screen. Ive started adding "notes" to shaping points. The intention is to deliver useful information as I drive through that shaping point. Just home from a ride and for some reason the notes were not announced as I drove through the shaping point. Just wondering is there something I need to set in the settings? Incidentally "waypoints" get announced (with notes) without issues. Thanks in advance Stephen

@Peter-Schiefer, the no2 problem also happens without any notes to be announced. Just don't place waypoints near navigational changes like crossings, roundabouts, insertion or exit strips etc.
