Downloading Regions stuck

I'm trying to download an entire region (US) and it keeps getting stuck. I have plenty of storage room left so that's not the issue. I have about half of the States downloaded. I tried restarting the tablet and the app. Still gets stuck. Any ideas?

@Ron-Block download state by state. For some reason, the entire region has never been able to be downloaded at once - a known issue, not sure if it will be rectified or not.

@Ron-Block Hi Rom,
I had the same issue with Europe: Download of the full region always failed, but downloading country by country worked fine.
Try state by state!

@GT-JWR But now I don't have the option of State by State. When I go to the United States, it only gives me the option of refreshing the whole region download. It shows the states that are already downloaded. I can't go to the individual states. They are all greyed out.

@Ron-Block, I guess you are talking about updating, not downloading (fisrt time). But you are right, when updating the app does a re-download of all previously downloaded maps. Downloading that much information at once is prone to errors, like you are experiencing. The (simple) advice is to download only the states you really need . What helps the download to complete is to leave your phone alone while downloading and don't do other things with it simultaneously. Don't have it switch between networks ahile the download runs.

To comfort you, I can tell that an interrupted download will continue where it left off if you restart the download. It just takes a moment for the app to index what it already has downloaded earlier.

Hopefully sometime in the future the update will be smart enough to only download deltas (changes between the current and the new map segments).

I ended up removing the app and reinstalling it. I then downloaded all the offline maps a few at a time with no issues. Thank you!
