With the planner I planned an itinerary choosing to avoid motorways and toll roads, but Navigation Next took me on a road that doesn't exist, I attach the evidence of MRA and of the same area verified on Google Map, what could cause this error?

@Corrado-Miniati-0 This is because you are using the OpenStreetMap for planning your route. MRA Navigation Next uses the HERE map. Plan your routes using the HERE planning map.

Hi Nick, thanks for the feedback, as I wrote to you in another post, I use OpenStreetMap because it allows the use of segments which I use very often, I need to understand how to act with Here.

@Corrado-Miniati-0 As I said, it is important to use the HERE planning map for routes that you will use for MRA Navigation. You can position route points to use some sections of motorway and or twisty roads. In my opinion there is no need to use segments.

Hi Nick and thanks for feedback.
But if planners allow it with OSM it's a shame not to take advantage of this tool. Do you know if the segments will also be implemented with Here?
Can I create an itinerary with OSM and segments and convert it to Here before saving the gpx?
              Will the segments be preserved?

Each planning map has its own set of algorithms that it uses to create a route. Only the OSM map has the option to use segments. When you create a route using the OSM map and segments if you then switch to the HERE planning map a copy of the original route OSM route will be used. This will probably not be the same. You could then use the add route function to overlay your original OSM route over the top as a comparison and then add extra route points so that both routes are the same.

great suggestion, in fact the comparison highlights the difference at the critical point.

@Corrado-Miniati-0 And if you check the road with Streetview or Satellite, you may see why there is a difference.

sure, if there are many deviations you will have to spend a long time to verify all the differences.

@Corrado-Miniati-0, yes, that's why it is advised to plan your routes on the HERE map 😉 An alternative can be to navigate the OSM route as a track. Enable these options in the app:

                        594e61fb-5c7e-4cb7-8cde-d6a9c2706a4b-image.png

If starting an OSM (or TT) route, you will get a question of you want ride the route as a track or a route. If you choose track the route will be as planned, but you lose any waypoints.

Hi Con and thanks for the feedback.
You have to find your best compromise in short...
But is there a reason why you can't use segments with Here and TT?

@Corrado-Miniati-0, Yes there is, those maps don't support the use of segments 😉 Only OSM does (at the moment). I am sure that if using segments will become possible on either other map, devs will make it available in MRA also.
