Offline maps on SD card manage too difficult

Hi everybody,
offline maps stored on the device's SD card often don't work and the app freezes, while if I store the offline maps on the internal memory everything works better, why?

@Corrado-Miniati-0, SD card performance is very dependent on the device it is being used in. What phone are you using? Also the mechanical pressure on the contacts can fail easily under motorcycle vibrations if the SD card slider is a bit worn. Besides that, SD memory will never be as performant as the internal storage. If at all possible, I would try to avoid the use of an SD card. That has nothing to do with the app, but everything with the extra problem-sensitivity you add with it.

Hi Con, thanks for the feedback.
I'm using the Samsung Tab Active 3, now I have tranfer the maps into internal memory and the app funcions better.
