Audio when navigating

My in helmet audio when using the app to navigate doesn't seem to increase when I try to up the volume on my backtalk edge it does turn up music but not your direction commentry.
@Richard-Morris-0 . Hallo, meine Erfahrung ist, Du solltest direkt am Handy die Lautstärke auf 100% stellen und dann über den Helm oder dein genutztes System die Lautstärke nach unten regeln.
Das geht dann viel besser.

@Richard-Morris-0 set the phone sound level to 100% (while the voice is speaking) and then adjust the Cardo sound level when the voice prompt is speaking.

@Richard-Morris-0 I use Cardo Packtalk Bold and when it is not connected to my wife’s Cardo unit the navigation instructions are loud and clear. When It is connected and we are using the intercom the instructions are very quiet (too quiet to hear properly). I have tried switching the Cardo from DMC mesh to standard Bluetooth connection but it makes no difference. Music audio is interrupted for instructions but not intercom.
I think that the trigger to interrupt the intercom when a navigation instruction is announced is not recognised by Cardo.Always willing to help if I can.

I don't know how they do that. When I get a chance, I'm going to try connecting a second phone as a GPS device to see if that works any better.

I sometimes listen to audiobooks via an app on my phone and also music via my iTunes library, both of these are interrupted for navigation instructions and interestingly the audiobook is paused while the announcement is made meaning I don't miss a vital clue if the book is a whodunnit! And like you, phone calls interrupt the intercom. It is just when the intercom is connected to another intercom that the navigation instructions are barely audible.

@Nick-Carthew Ik zelf loop ook te klooien, dat als ik de intercom gebruik dat ik geen meldingen krijg en dat de intercom niet gedempt wordt voor melding van een naderende afslag.
ik gebruik de Cardo Freecom 4+ heb deze gekoppeld als telefoon 1. Ik ben er niet zo bekent mee of je ook bij de instellingen van de Freecom 4+ moet aan passen, als iemand hier meer van weet hoor ik dat graag -

@Nick-Carthew dat is snel, ik heb de app van cardo geïnstalleerd en de setting aan gepast, ben benieuwd ik rij met een tablet Samsung Tab 3 daar hoef ik bij mijn weten niets te doen. van het weekend ga ik weer rijden en ben benieuwd hoe het gaat laat het je weten, Al vast bedankt voor je snelle reactie

@G-Grote-Ganseij. I have played with the settings in the Cardo Connect app for my Cardo Packtalk Bold. It does not seem to fix anything. I do get MRA voice notifications but if someone is talking on the intercom then the voice prompt is cut off. My phone running MRA is connected to phone #1 port. If your using a tablet perhaps you can connect it to Cardo using the GPS device port rather than a phone port.

Maar dan heb je inderdaad een probleem. Hetzij met je headset, hetzij met je prioriteiten @Con-Hennekens nee ik vind het wel fijn dat Truus onder breekt even wat anders, en ik hoop ook dat het met deze instelling werkt, maar dat geluk heb ik denk ik wel.

@Nick-Carthew Hallo Nick, ik heb het de laatste 2 weekenden getest met deze instelling, en ik ben er nog niet kapot van, opzich lijkt het goed maar als je een gesprek wil starten of probeert een gesprek over de intercom te starten krijg je een keer of 10 te horen in gesprek, in gesprek, in gesprek en dat is wel vervelend heb geprobeerd te achterhalen hoe ik dit kan oplossen en daar is maar 1 oplossing voor de instelling terug zetten, en tussen door goed op je scherm letten. Vind het wel jammer maar als het niet gaat dan is het niet anders.
