I have installed the app this weekend and used it during two rides. In both rides, the navigation froze multiple times. The map, current position and speed indication continue to function, but the navigation instruction at the top doesn't change anymore. After a missed turn, I had to switch to another navigation app, because it became imposible to follow the route.

@Robby-De-Laet, I have had a similar freeze this weekend, but in my case also the speed indication and moving map were frozen. I suspect it is due to something that happens while switching from online to offline or back. Especially when that happens multiple times in a row. I noticed that this crashing happens mostly when this constant switching occurs.

in version 4.04 the latest build is 216 in my opinion.
I have the same issue. I hope It will be solved
I encountered this problem sometimes with version 4.02 ,4.03 and 4.04, the position is always updated but the indications are frozen as well as the kilometer count in the different displays.
I only navigate in offline mode, so it is not related to the change of mode.
-You must restart the app and the route to regain stable operation.
-I was not able to identify the cause of the problem, I had not talked about it because there was no similar report on the forum.
@Calibos Same here I experience it as well. And for the same reason as you had not mentioned it.
I have just to opposite happen, I'll post another thread in case it's different.
My map/position freezes and the Turn and distance update. I'm able to still use it.. more like 1996 Printed MapQuest though 
Same problem here, the navigation instructions freeze at the first instructions, even when restarting the navigation , same problem occurs:
Both with offline maps and without offline maps, driving around Brussels area.

@Robby-De-Laet ik heb dit probleem ook.
Bij het volgen van een route, loopt de route vast. (Eventueel door gemiste afslag, maar niet altijd daardoor).
Het lijkt er dan ook op of ik nog steeds het voorgeprogrammeerde parcours volg, maar dan zonder navigatie begeleiding.
Wanneer ik dat dan op merk, ben ik al even van het parcours verwijderd. Dan is de enige optie om te herstarten. Maar dan stuurt de app me via de kortste(denk ik) weg terug naar vertrekpunt. Hernemen lukt me dan niet ook al ben ik terug op het juiste parcours.
Ook deze week wou ik gewoon een a naar b rit doen. Maar ik kreeg toen enkel het startscherm maar geen kaart. Kon op geen enkele manier naar de navigatie pagina.
Heb dan maar de waze gebruikt.
PS : heb de laatste updates van zowel de app als mijn smartphone.
