Navigation Next Beta Crashing

Navigation Next 1.6.12 is crashing and I receive a app bug notification after the crash. Only the Events button, the Offline maps button and the information buttons works without crashing the app. If I enter events and select a route in the event I am able to enter navigation. The information button goes to a dead web link.
The settings menu works and the queue menu works.
I did a new install with the same results. -

The new navigation runs from within the MyRoute-app mobile app.Always willing to help if I can.

What has been confusing me is that it seemed as though the separate nav app has more user defined settings than the one in the MRA app. Such as measurement options. The Next app had Miles/feet. The MRA only has Miles/yards as far as I can tell.
Also no audio prompt voice options. -

The voice that the app uses for instructions comes from your phone not the app. I changed my iPhone voice to a rather lovely lady called Serena who speaks with a BBC accent
