    Can someone please point me to basic reference information on creating routes, track-logs, waypoints, etc. I am in the process of creating my first real tour route and I need to get it right. Thanks, Dan

        @RGDan59 You could find a route in the RouteXpert library to see how routes can be embellished with additional information.

        Always willing to help if I can.

            @Rob-Verhoeff

            Thanks Rob, exactly what I was looking for.

            Is it best practice to start a route at my home, for example, or a nearby point I'll be passing?

              @RGDan59 I always place the first route point 200 m from the actual start location. Most navigation devices will route you to the start.
