The season of spooky stories and nasty weather, also called "guur" in Dutch, is approaching rapidly. With a few days left before October I'm kicking off this topic in hopes of finding people who've got some nice themed routes to share.
Last year the RouteXperts did a limited-time collection of free Halloween themed routes that will be making their return this season. Now personally, I absolutely love this. I had a lot of fun discovering the grisly spooky history of mundane places. In fact, I guess that's what brings all of us riders together: the love of beautiful scenery filled with rich history.
So, I would like to invite you all to share themed routes in the routes section with the "Spooky Ride" tag. Make sure it's a day trip and contains things that are fun or even scary (but please, no mundanely dangerous stuff like doing the Stelvio at 100km/h).
