Exporting a gpx 1.2 route to your Garmin Zumo
A gpx 1.2 file consists of waypoints and the track with possibly poi's (points of interest). Exporting to your Garmin follows the same procedure as gpx 1.1, only choose Garmin Zumo (GPX 1.2) in the connector. You can now also import the route and you will see the route in the 'Travel Planner'. The difference is that no formation points are now shown, only the via points in the form of orange flags. If you click on the 'Map', you will only see the flags. The route between the flags is a track and that is very different from navigating via the route, more about that below.
