Zumo XT MAC gpx1.2
-
Hello!
Is it only me having problem to export with gpx1.2 with mac, there is no option to select 1.2?
With my PC it works fine. -
@johan-gustavsson
Will this help you?
Garmin Zumo XT <-> Mac... (click) -
@jack-van-tilburg I have Android file tranfer installed and I can copy files to the XT.
But I wan´t to use cable and send via connector. -
Not funny!
Look at this instruction:
(Source)Exporting a gpx 1.2 route to your Garmin Zumo
A gpx 1.2 file consists of waypoints and the track with possibly poi's (points of interest). Exporting to your Garmin follows the same procedure as gpx 1.1, only choose Garmin Zumo (GPX 1.2) in the connector. You can now also import the route and you will see the route in the 'Travel Planner'. The difference is that no formation points are now shown, only the via points in the form of orange flags. If you click on the 'Map', you will only see the flags. The route between the flags is a track and that is very different from navigating via the route, more about that below.But this is what I see:
No GPX 1.2

@johan-gustavsson I have an iMac and it is not possible to send Data from MRA via connector to the ZumoXT.

@reinhard-32 @Johan-Gustavsson
Michel van Hagen's Blog does not describe an exception for Mac.
Maybe a good reason to create a ticket in the 'Support' section? -
I think it is because you can only have 1 open system connected to the Mac.
Filetransfer is 1
Connector is 2 -
@hans-van-de-ven-mra-master
That could be.
But I use a pre M1 Mac and don't see the choice for GPX 1.2.
(I'm pretty sure I used it for my BMW Nav XI)
I only have an old Garmin Zumo 590 so can't test -
Then create a support ticket that gpx 1.2 is not available in the connector on a Mac
-
@hans-van-de-ven-mra-master
I don't think it's helpful if I do that because I'm not a user of this feature.
Good action for @Johan-Gustavsson of @Reinhard-32. -
@jack-van-tilburg In the meantime I have opened a ticked according this problem.
