Gary France, Motorcycle Tour Operator from the UK, saying hello

Hi everyone, I am Gary France, from London, England, saying hello here on MRA. I run a Harley-Davidson motorcycle touring business called Tour1 and we operate tours mainly in Europe, but also sometimes in the USA and New Zealand. I have been using Basecamp for about ten years and so I know that software very well. I plan about 10 routes a year, each for an average of about 10 days, so I have maybe planned a 1000 days riding on Basecamp. You could therefore say I know the software quite well. Having said that, I find it very awkward to use and despair of some of its problems. I started looking at MRA in February 2020 to see if I could use it for planning my tours.
In 2010, I rode 21,475 miles (34,560 kms) around the USA in a single four-and-a-half month road trip. I wrote a huge book about my journey called βFrance In Americaβ. This is available to buy on the web, buy searching for the book name and adding the word Harley to the search.
I look forward to learning more about MRA and contributing to its development as an enthusiastic member of its community.

@Nick-Carthew I see the whole world as somewhere to be explored! I have previously ridden in many countries and this year I will be taking a tour to New Zealand for the first time. Looking forward to that!
