I think I may have discovered the cause of the Sync Bug described above
In this post https://forum.myrouteapp.com/post/68014 - I describe how when using the UK location/timezone the time stamps on the routes are a bit messed up, it is impossible to get them correct for the UK & the sorting in the mobile app comes out wrong
It also appears that the cause of the sync bug described above is due to the web planner & using the UK timezone
In the web planner if I set my timezone location to Europe I do not get the above sync error
To me the problem is not with the mobile app or the sync, it is the web planner timezone function that has a bug is messing things up
So if you are in the UK & use the UK timezone it is possible your routes will not be correctly synced unless you edit them in the mobile app before going offline
Thanks for the replies. I reported what I experienced with the app. Anyway, adjusting the zoom level helps. I glance at the screen to see what the next turn is, but I’m looking well ahead at the road and not staring at the screen.
@Brian-McG said in Navigation Option Show "Original Route" Does Not Display Consistently:
if I edit the web planned route in the app planner it seems to fit perfectly
Brian you absolute LEGEND! you found a work around! I just tried it. WiFi and 4G off.
Offline maps and the original route was all over the place, hit the pencil icon and BOOM it follows the exact route!!
This is such a great hack, I had turned off (Show Original route) as it was doing more bad than good.
The downside is being taken down a single track thinking I don't remember planning this only to realise it wasn't part of the original route.
Now thanks to you I can avoid that! Thank you so much!!!
Hopefully the MRA team will come up with a fix in the next update @Corjan-Meijerink more work your way mate cheers .

Sorry, I just found your post. If you haven't already, get yourself on to https://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hubb/ and start talking to people who have been where you are going.
Cheers,
Tom
Google search "Map Regions" of the country you want to visit.
Plenty of sites that show you how that country is divided, they match up with the names in the MRA offline map downloads.
pick the regions you want and download.
Worked for me
@Mike-wiruth, Like @Rainer-Treichel says, I just want to add that if you navigate tracks instead of routes, or use the "Navigate Route as Track" feature, it is advised to do that online. Doing that offline makes it less accurate.
