@Nicolaj Using the correct planning map for your device is important. If you use a Garmin based navigation device including MRA Navigation Next you should use the HERE planning map, If your device is TomTom based then the TomTom planning map is the correct one. You can use any of the overlay maps over the top of the planning map, think of the overlays as clear sheets with extra information for the planning map. Your route is calculated and drawn on the planning map.

Gute Fahrt! RT

The Goldings Nav isn't the best. But the GPX files from MRA should work. I've tried it once or twice in the past and it did work.

@Stefan-Hummelink said in How do I copy a friends route into my own folders?: @Steve-Crowther Well, the second image I posted is in fact the browser /planner... But as @Nick-Carthew said, you did not open the route from your friends account... If you do so, the menu button nick and I showed you appears. Ah OK. thank you both. I didn't realise before that "Use Route" would copy it into my routes.

@Dieter-Gruber said in Transfer of planned routes: Hello, I was planning my first tours and then I transferred the tours to my BMW Navigator V. Unfortunately the transmission did not work - only one tour out of 6 tours appeared in the Navigator as new tour. I tried it several times and I did not succeed. The mode of transferring was like last years: saving the tour under gpx 1.1. (track, route, POIs), transferring it via connector to BMW Motorrad (Garmin). But only one tour arrived in the Navi-device. Who can help me? Thank you so much for the support. Dieter Now I recognized the following; the one and only tour that was transferred was a tour that I have uploaded from a friend: he is also planning with MRA but he is doing it in the TomTom version. I changed it to HERE, saved it and then I did the transfer that worked. I don't know if that is a reason that it worked - I just wanted to mention it. Thanks!

@GT-JWR said in Problem with export to MyDrive: Until then, other apps such as TomTom very much become reality. Yes, that is a potential deal breaker for some devices indeed, and it is very much so on MRA's collective mind I think. But if I was to switch to something else, it would definitely NOT be an app that does not understand waypoints

@Peter-Schiefer, I see. Well then, it is up to the devs if they choose to make that adjustment

@Phil-Stiver Hi Phil, I am using the HERE algorithm an my default landing map in the browser is OSM. I don't have any issues. No idea, why you are experiencing this issues. I can change to and from any map and my loading speed is absolutely fine. You might have heard that several times and think it isn't worth trying it, but anyway: Sometimes it is related to your current browser and it can help to reset the browser caches and/or cookies. This helped me from time to time using other web apps. Greetings Tom

@michael-rello said in Changing maps: @Hans-van-de-Ven-MR-MRA I’m not looking to compare different routes. I’m wanting to take the route I meticulously planed on open streets my Yamaha motorcycle gps) and have my wife see it in Here map(iphone nav next app). When you change the map, it changes the entire planned route. Shaping points are VITAL to force any route to take certain roads. Otherwise, the "other software" will not follow the same route to get to destination. Different software may not respect the shaping points you created with another application. Have you tried creating the route with MyRoute-app then exporting it to your Yamaha GPS? For me, that works amazingly well exporting MyRoute-app (website) to Garmin Zumo. It is possible one of the export options will work for your Yamaha GPS.
