@Thomas-Neumeyer Yes map selection in the top menu is for the navigation calculation. The right menu is only an overlay for better view.

@Christian-Siegel You are not doing anything wrong, the dotted line shows an unpaved road, which is why the chosen map (OSM, TomTom or the Here map) cannot draw a route. @Jörgen Yes, I have. But the problem was I had created a long distance return route from the Iranian/Turkish border to the Greek border that I split in day trips after having then chosen a hotel and this complete trip could not be opened . This evening somewhere in Turkey I was able to open it again and I could split it up. Happy me as I had put in a lot of time creating it.
