@Russ-1, a non-paid membership is enough to share routes. Why does your wife need navigation on the back of the bike? And the auto-skip-waypoints works really well for me. But I am not too frantic about deviating from the route between 2 waypoints, knowing that I have enough waypoints to make the deviation really small.

@Steve-Lynch I can indeed confirm the accessibility features are ignored. During early testing of Mobile we discovered a lot of issues when allowing this so we now simply ignore it. By default the Mobile app uses a bigger font as that suits the app usage (slightly longer distance from your eyes as it’s mounted on a bike / car). If the accessibility feature would increase the font size even more, the screen became horrific. When using the forum through the Mobile app, it uses the default web size font which might be a bit small. Thanks for putting this on my radar.

@Drabslab said in Suggestion: Mark routes for visibility in Navigation (Next): @Con-Hennekens Even with this feature I would still want to be able to browse the same folder structure as I have in the routeplanner. What Nick says about the folderstructure already being there in the Mobile app. We can be quite sure this will replicate to the Navigation part of that same app. However, this would indeed be a good feature on top of the folder browsing allowing also to re-use old routes without copying, cutting and pasting. Exactly that! And to not have the bother of the complete archive of routes to browse through when loading a route.

@Drabslab said in question: section control: @Con-Hennekens Yes, it would most probably do. Just a pity it is still a year away Yep...

@Nick-Carthew said in Suggestion: navigation communication: If I remember correctly the speed symbol flashes if you’re going too fast. I never do this is why I can’t remember aaahhh, that is why i never noticed Apparently, next to being a hard core MRA fan, you are also a saint

@Timo-Martosatiman-MRA My intention was to force putting the route by the city, not knowing any precise addresse, only as transit. For example I'd like to go from location A to B by city C - so I am finding C by seek mechanizm and then I don't want to enter any street name (because I don't have any idea which one) nor city center which is mostly main square. It would be only a general directive for routing. For sure it can stay for one of the final phases of the application development

Thanks for the suggestion @L-Spijker-0 While on the route-planning end I would completely agree with you that TomTom is a hard requirement, we'll definitely not be including TomTom routing in our initial release (and honestly, likely all future releases) of the MRA Navigation Next application. As @Steve-Lynch mentioned, we're using HERE as the basis for the premium sat-nav-esque "Navigation" part of "MRA Navigation Next". That isn't to say that TomTom map layers won't be possible. For those that don't know: map-layers are the way the map looks, including things like labels and colours.

@Nick-Carthew +1 For me the map is more important rather then the buttons. I use the buttons very rarely.

@Nick-Carthew dank u

@Arjan-Olsthoorn +1

@Jaap-Brandsma said in Suggestion: create a warning on the screen when you reach a special point, e.g. lunchpoint.: I allways have problems remembering at which point we planned to stop for lunch on our route/track, it could be handy to give a warning on the screen when you reach such a point. If you choose a coloured route point for your lunch stop and use a POI, these become clearly visible when using MRA Navigation. You can also click the route point to reveal any note that has been written. [image: B3EAD19F-0B6B-484D-95A1-DA041702A746.png] [image: ACA3FA82-B3D4-45F2-8324-A5B99881AFE4.png]

@Timo-Martosatiman-MRA said in Suggestion: favorite features screen: there should be a default one yes, of course as long as I as a user, can drop these standard features and drag/drop others in it. Important would be that the features in this widget screen do not require any other input than a simple push. This is to be used while driving so no time for entering parameters.

We're researching this possibility right now. I've talked with our well-known developer @Corjan-Meijerink about the possibilities on this as well to streamline an internal beta for the team. Know that we're on this and will come up soon with more information on this matter.

Hi Spili, we have this feature planned in our list of features. More to follow in the future. We want to ensure that you're both getting a relevant petrol station (so not one that is behind you, like many other apps do) and close enough. This feature is in it's design stage still, but we've got it scoped. Thank you for participating!

@M-Schrijver This will be available in MRA Navigation Next, for example see the MRA Mobile app

(Garmin GPSmap 64s en/of smartfoon) My navigation needs: on the bike (Garmin Zumo and/or smartphone), in the car (Garmin Zumo, Apple Carplay and/or smartphone) and on the bike. (Garmin GPSmap 64s and/or smartphone)

Hi Hans, a nice addition that we have been eyeing for years. We also want to give the recreational walker/cyclist a home on MyRoute-app. That is why we have now added the OpenCycleMap in mobile. This will also remain the case if you use Navigation Next.
