Thanks for starting this post! We will definitely have such a section for our customer support division. It won’t make much sense on the forum right here but more about that later today I’ve shared the questions you’ve come up with, with the person creating the manual.

Quite some features are not yet available in CarPlay / Android Auto. Those will be added over the next weeks. As it is now, it will be available at release.

@richtea999 Future ambition! First two are duplicates indeed as this provides easy access when opening the Navigation settings while navigating (other settings cannot be accessed). Further explanation can be found in this other recent post: https://forum.myrouteapp.com/topic/4507/app-theme

@richtea999 I don't think getting lost is the primary use case here. As @Lynchy67 says, it may just be you don't want to go the added distance of going to the starting point. The route may be one you've picked up from elsewhere, which is why it doesn't have a completely suitable starting point. Or you may simply have to restart/reload the app (for whatever reason) somewhere along the way and you just want to pick up where you left off.

@richtea999, I agree, but what is probably meant is to skip some waypoints or shorten the route while you are drinking coffee at a stop. Like you say, I think that is best done from the planner. It would already help a lot if there was a shortcut in the menu that brings you to the route editor, with the route you were driving loaded. Somewhere in the future, maybe...

@Corjan-Meijerink, that could explain why an URL can't be reached, if the DNS server of your previous provider is unreachable (they often allow only traffic from their own network).

This is something we will look into later
