Use for daily commute: alternative (faster) routes ?
-
Starting to use MRA Next first in my car to get used to it.
Besides use on my motorbike where I want curvy roads and enjoy my ride, I therefor also use the MRA Navigation Next for my daily commute to work.
Hopefully I can end up using 1 app for all my Navigation needs
But commuting comes with different requirements:
- always as fast as possible to single destination
- continuous adaptation to avoid traffic congestion when it develops
- option to see alternative route
-
- If I stay on highway the defaults is shown
-
- Alternative route option also shown informs that getting off the highway is 2 mins slower, or 1 min faster
-
- This would allow me to choose and take the alternative
I first saw this feature on Petal maps App (Huawei phone) and it is very useful for a commute where you know some alternatives, but need the impact of traffic to get to work as fast and convenient as possible
