@Rob-Verhoeff Apple en Google leggen min of meer dezelfde beperkingen op. Op de achtergrond zitten vast wat verschillen maar op het scherm zien de gebruikers die vrijwel niet.

To answer about this feature specifically: we have it as devs but not exposed to users. It takes quite some time to make it useful! Now it takes forever to simulate a relatively short route. What’s the point in watching a simulation of 20 minutes for a 4 hour drive when you could already be at your coffee stop We are a small team (2 devs) and need to spend time wisely. Here I am on the forum (while I should be watching Real - Bayern), in my personal time, to make sure our community is and stays happy After already a quite intense work week (see the results in the 4.1.3 announcement). Our users don’t see the need for this (yet) and prefer we spend precious time on other features! If this picks up traction, we will definitely consider it

@Con-Hennekens I was thinking of a search while looking at my routes. I guess I forgot that the home screen screen search also returns routes and tracklogs along with cities, favourites, locations, businesses etc. An all encompassing search function.

@Corjan-Meijerink, I think it would be logical to be able to switch them on/off independently though.

Nice discussion... I would not base my cornering speed on the absence of a warning. Therefore the presence of a warning is also not really useful. Look ahead is the best advice. Concerning the advice to take an advanced course: I'd rather drive at speeds that do not need advances skills. That's a lot safer...

@marc-van-der-heijden, Ja er zijn plannen Als ik mag gokken, gok ik dat de ontwikkeling richting Favorieten als aparte POI categorie gaat. Zodoende kun je zelf lijsten samenstellen en meteen ook makkelijk delen. Maar dat is niks voor de korte termijn denk ik.

@Marjea je reageert op een hele klus post en inmiddels is d instructie aangepast. Dan blijft alleen smaak over denk ik Nu komt de instructie op 800 meter. Blijft een compromis denk ik. Er is overigens wel veel verschil tussen de layout op je telefoon in vergelijking met Android Auto bv

@Jörgen, Yes that looks like a nice method. The problem is in: and don't know where you are, and you have to find a way to continue So in the situation you describe, you have no idea what road segments to block really...
