I live in London and rode to Italy a couple of times this year. On each occasion I ended the route at Folkstone and started again in Calais, same on the way back.

@sudolea Yes, I did said MRA - MyRoute-app. @Nick-Carthew You are correct. I meant while navigating, and not with Navigation, but with the MyRoute-app, I use that app because it will keep the point to point navigation like planned and will not try to re-route between the points. @Corjan-Meijerink I can't wait to test the Navigation Next - maybe there is a feature to lock the constant routing between the points and act like MyRoute-app. About that Gold feature, it is nice, but I meant while navigating, I am waiting for another "Life membership" promotion discount to take advantage and become a Gold member. Also a difference from the Navigation Next, would be that the distance is shown for the next waypoint marked as a "Show distance", while the Navigation next is showing the distance to the next waypoint. When you have 10 waypoints between the current position and the gas station (marked as a "Show distance" waypoint) you see how that becomes relevant.

It is still a great idea. For now I use MRA and Waze on split screen, just to see the speed limits (and the police warnings). However, not all phones can do split screen...

@Con-Hennekens He's not talking about the start of the route, it's about using a section of motorway in the middle of a scenic route. However, you don't have to do anything special for that, just put in waypoints for the scenic parts of the route and the distance in between will be calculated using the fastest option automatically anyway, no need to place waypoints on the motorway for that. @Tony-Evans-0 Try completely uninstalling the app and then reinstalling. This normally helps with the problems that you mentioned.

@Nick-Carthew As I know, I can only manage fonts - and I have it set bigger then standard setting. It should be correctly scaled by MRA in this case, try horizontal view - it is completely useless... Edit - you are right, I have changed zoom setting to standard one and it works, anyway would be good to manage it somehow in both modes, I prefer bigger icons etc.

@Drabslab I agree that MRA Next is an option I would be interested in. However thats a long way off so the XT will be my device of choice at the moment.
