I'm locking this topic now, The OPs question has been answered and arguments for and against have been made. The topic is turning into a playground squabble and we do not wish for that on this forum. The new MRA Navigation Next will include alerts for via points.

Moved topic to General discussion. A complete revamp of the POI library is definitely planned for the future.

@Drabslab I agree that MRA Next is an option I would be interested in. However thats a long way off so the XT will be my device of choice at the moment. When the Next beta's are available I will test them but the XT will stay on the bike as well. [image: 1667612792815-262296d1-89de-4eb5-9c0a-1418ef79ce4c.jpeg]

@Drabslab said in Showing multiple routes simultaneously: @Steve-Jarrell It seems that the complete picture of what is being suggested here is the ability to have "layers" in a single routefile whereby each layer presents another route, and the start/endpoints of those routes are shared so that dragging a shared point changes two or more routes that share that particular waypoint. I compare this to the layers in CAD software, or in image software such as adobe photoshop, or infinity. each layer could have its own colors, toolbox setting (avoid highways...) etc.... and each layer could have its own name like the tab pages in excel. Giving focus to the base layer would give route statistics covering all layers, focusing on another layer would give the stats for that particular layer. an option to import an existing route in a layer, and to explode the layers of one routefile in individual routes could be nice? Thanks! Much of that functionality is in the existing system in the "Routes" option on the left side of the screen as @Timo-Martosatiman-MRA pointed out in his post above. While the functionality can be improved on, it is really good it will be very helpful to me now that I know it exists!

@Jd-Price Firstly, I don't think you posted this in the right topic. This topic is about the RouteXpert Library provided by MRA, not your own routes/tracklogs/etc. Secondly, for me sorting works just as well for tracklogs as it does for routes, so I'm not sure what your are talking about? Just click on the "Name" column heading to sort by name (clicking again switches between ascending and descending order).

@Brian-VanLaarhoven or use the clock (default symbol). Before you know it it's icons all over and you can't make a choice at all!

@Herko-ter-Horst I love the Tom Tom algorithms set to High, as they take me on lots of country lanes, particularly those with no pavements for pedestrians. My device is a Garmin XT so I plot the waypoints over the TT Track and then switch to the Here map. It’s a bit of a faff but the end result is worth the effort.

@sudolea @Jabp All good points - and I don't mean to discount W3W at all. If it's in additional to other ways of specifying a location I'm all for adding it. I guess it depends on what experience you've had of it - and I've had really mixed experiences.
