MRA Gpx Routes to a BMW Connected Ride Unit.
-
I have through an embarrassing set of events realised that one must use routes and not tracks. However even after realising that basic error I still have troubles with the connected ride. The 1st had an easy get around. 1, When transferring the routes the BMW unit re-arranged the WP's into alphabetical order. My routes rarely are that well organised. The get around was to label the WP's A, B, C , D etc. That works but a real pain if you need the same WP twice or in a different route plan.
2nd and more problematic. The unit seemed to reorder the WP's mid route as well. I believed I was heading for "c" and in effect arrived at "E" Has anyone else suffered similar and is there a solution.?

Moved to the discussion channel as this is a topic for BMW Connected Ride and not a problem connected to the route planner.

does not help you, but I do not have that problem. After importing the GPX1.1(route, track) I get 3 options. Import as a track, or as waypoints, or as support points. All seem to work but I prefer the waypoint option. I am using a Samsung S20. I usually have less than 15 points on a route.
