Just thought I would start a new topic to give people inspiration of what set ups people have and what works well etc
So show us the set up you are using for MRA with as much detail as possible
I use a Samsung galaxy S20 fe with a quadlock case and mount on to a WunderLINQ box which allows me to control some aspects of MRA with the bmw wonder wheel
The WunderLINQ clips directly in to the bmw nav prep and also allows charging from it tooThis is how it's mounted on my bmw r1200rt
The phone I use is OK and plenty fast enough and bright enough to see in most conditions if anything I think I would prefer a slightly larger screen
So come on don't be shy show us your set up and your pros and cons

@stuart-marritt met me be the first to respond
I use a Thork Racing DMD2 rugged device. The T865X aan 8 inch tablet with its own simcard in it. The device is 1300+ nits so gives me aan excellent view of the route. It is mounted with a DMD made mount that I've adjusted a bit to fit in the cockpit of my Goldwing.
For backup I have a Samsung S20FE mounted on a Quadock wireless charged head. Never had to use it though.

Gibt es auch mit Kugelkopf. Qualitativ und funktional oberste Liga. Kein Vergleich zu RamMount. -

Samsung Galaxy tab active 3 on my Kawasaki. It's in a Brodit active holder.
I first mounted it on the upper bar, which is an accessory. The device was shaking there while riding, because of the RAM mounts used. A better fitting solution would likely solve the problem, but I simply fitted it at the second best place, between the handlebars.
This solution is a lot cheaper than a DMD2 or Carpe Iter.
The fitted is fine tuned to my height, so I can see all the instruments and warning lights while riding.

Ich nutze ein Carpuride W702 in Verbindung mit einem Honor 90 Smartphone an einer Kawasaki Versys 650. Klappt super. Als Navigation nutze ich MRA oder TomTom Go. -
Some good looking setups here! Keep them coming
