Did exactly what you said, and enabled Developer Mode in Android Auto and checked "allow installation from unknown sources", and works perfectly with version 4.3.9, which was the only stable version for me !
Now I can drive my planned routes into the Swiss and Italian Alps !

PS: I turned off automatic updates for MRA within Play Store, and I am not doing any other updates this year :))))))

@Adrian-Avram I hope they undestand and resolve this issue because the version 4.4.0 seems to be very low in battery usage, but no response at this point ...

@Daniele-Boncompagni I gave it a try today using version 4.4.4 on Samsung S24 Ultra and this is how it looks like ... app is unusable ...
For now I will use version 4.3.9 on my Motorola phone ...

Install Aptoide from Google. Uninstall version 4.4.0, look for MyRoute App in Aptoide and select "Older Versions" and get V 4.3.9 and log in with your account.

I am fine with that. Also I never had any battery drain issues while using the app in version 4.3.9, so version 4.4.0 is not really a must have for me.
