We are touring Italy at the moment and MRA is so it and miss. For example we had a simple route planned from the top of lake Como to Como and We were supposed to peel off towards Turin then on to Asti. MRA decided to navigate us back up the opposite side of the lake back to our original start point. Any suggestions

Could it be that you didn't pass viapoint 1? If you don't actually 'hit' that waypoint, MRA keeps sending you back until you've drove over it! For the rest shapingpoints 4 and 6 are slightly misplaced. Try to punt them on the road instead of in an building. I certainly would add some more shapingpoints. Try to use as less as possible but as many as needed! Only 8 waypoints on app. 300km is not much!
I hope you're enyoing your trip -

@Ck-Hos, what @Rob-Verhoeff says is likely what happened. Place your first waypoint some distance into the direction you want to start, to make sure you actually "hit" it , when driving off. The first waypoint is a VIA point (hand-shape) and will not be automatically skipped if you don't hit it.
