What to use to plan a new route ?
-
I prepare my routes on MRA web, and navigate on MRA Nav.
What type of calcul do I use on the net (Garmin, TomTom or Open Street Map) ?
Can I use every map ?Thanks

If you navigate with MRA, make your routes with the "Here" map service (pic 1).
It doesn't matter which map layer you want to use, personal preference (pic 2).

@Joce-Doubs Depends what you are using for navigation, a GPS NAV device or MRA Next on your phone.

@Joce-Doubs For the pure planning excercise on the web you can use any map you want. You just need to keep in mind, that MRA Next (The Nav APP) is always using the Here-maps and the related routing algorithem. If you plan with any "non-Here" map on the web, you should finish your planning and use the compare feature to see, if the route takes the same shape, when you will use a Here map.
If you find any differences, then you should change the route to fit to your originally planned layout.I hope I did not totally confuse you now.

OK, thanks to all. I navigate with MyRoute Nav on a Carpe Iter.
I actually prepare a 6 months roundtrip to Saoudi Arabia, Oman, Iran, ...
So, I'm training on this app because it allows to have a lot of informations. On my previous trips, I used Garmin Zumo because this app was not so great -
