Cards don't focus when not navigating and offline

When I'm using my tablet only to see the cards when i'm driving and no navigation and it's offline. The cards look blurry and don't get sharp until I go online or give I point to navigate to. Is there something I missed in the settings?
R1250GS. Started with a Zumo 550, BMW nav IV, Carpe-iter and now Chigee met MRA app.

These maps are not available offline, only the one you use while navigating
Long story short, it's a major technical constraint and we are working on an update that overhauls the entire start screen ensuring that is also available offline
