Recalculating route

Hi all, I just started using MRA for some weeks. I like it so far, but I have one question regarding recalculation of routes.
When I drive from work to home, I put on MRA and select fastest route. I follow this to just before arriving home and leaving the highway. I divert from the given route and pick a route which in time is equal, but in distance is shorter.
Still MRA tries to route me back to the original route.
Does MRA recalculate a route back to the original route or to the end point?

@Stephan-21 it triés accouple of times to get you back to the original route and then gives in and recalculates to the destination

For AB fastest routes, it will always calculate the fastest route to the end when deviating.
