What do the lines/arrows on the Nav screen mean?

I'm trying to workout what these coloured arrows mean (at the top of the screen), I had loads of them again today all on roundabouts, some were simple straight over roundabouts and it showed arrows to the left, some were right turn/3rd exit and it showed the same, none of them made any sense.
What do they mean?

@Rob-Kelley The arrows in the rectangular box at the top of the screen indicate the lane designation. Your image shows that the suggested lane is the left one.

Thanks but I'm turning right and the nav shows that I need to turn right, why an arrow showing left?

Maybe because it is a roundabout?
