New user with question

Hi,
I have previously used basecamp and recently started using my route gold subscription. I find it much more user friendly than basecamp. However, whenever I save GPX files it seems to default to saving them on basecamp and also basecamp often just straight lines / changes the routes etc. I will probably stop using basecamp altogether; question; can I save gpx to a directory instead of defaulting to basecamp, I cannot seem to prevent it defaulting ( probably my poor tech skills). If I have to delete basecamp I'm ok with that. Using iMac btw. Thank you for any assistance.

@Peter-Stringer No need to save, on closing a route it is automatically saved to your MRA route library.

@Peter-Stringer hi Peter
Like Nick already said there’s no need to save a file/route that will be done automaticly. It might be usefull as a new user to taak a look at all the tutorials. Forget about gpx files because you only need those to transfer a MRA route to a dedicated device. If you’re using the next app as well you don’t need gpx
Havé fun
