Sharing live location with Friends on MRA Navigation
-
Wouldn’t it be brilliant to have location sharing for MRA friends during group rides, where you can see each other’s location, direction, and distance right on your navigation screen? No more losing your mates when they decide to take a “scenic detour” (aka getting lost) or wondering if they’re actually behind you or just stopped for yet another coffee break.
With CarPlay and Android Auto becoming the norm for bikes, many of us are happily ditching the old GPS units. Personally, I’ve swapped out my trusty (but slightly dated) Garmin Zumo XT for a shiny new CarPlay setup, and I haven’t looked back. Over the summer, I clocked 8,000 km through the UK, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Andorra, and Spain. It worked a treat – no missed turns or accidental detours into Switzerland!
Being able to track where your riding buddies are would make life so much easier. Imagine keeping everyone on the same platform and avoiding the chaos of different devices with their own “creative” route suggestions. Less arguing about who’s got the better GPS and more time enjoying the ride (or maybe still arguing, but at least now we’ll know where everyone is!).

@PritVader This is something we wish to combine with the development of the new website!

High priority for that environment but a long duration till this will be implemented.
