old tablet carradio with old android 6

I have a old tablet carradio with android 6 and 1G ram en 16G rom. the old navigation app worked but only online. new next app does not work on android 6.
i am thinking would be a android auto simulation a solution.

has anybody experiance with this app or other ideas to make use off it with MRA Next.
google maps works and also my good old kurviger pro v1 app but it would be nice to let MRA work on it.
this is more learning and use of old stuff. i have a phone mount so i use MRA Next in the car.

@Bouke-Ent 2.9 stars from more than 3,000 users suggests it's not worth paying for.
Note that for tablets (rather than phones) the stars drop to 2.7.
As an app dev, I can confirm that anything less than 3.5 stars will have some serious limitations. I have a couple that are 3.5 - 4 stars and I know they're certainly less than perfect (old UI, don't work on all devices, don't have all the expected features, etc).
Apps with 4+ stars and several hundred reviews are generally likely to work as expected.
[It's worth noting that 2.5 stars isn't the average review since the lowest mark you can give is 1 star. The middle/average review is 3 stars, so 2.7 is well below average.]
