Auto - Zoom not working via Carplay

Just returned from a 1000mile trip around Scotland. My setup is iPhone 15 Pro with a Chigee AIO5 Play.
The CarPlay map screen stays zoomed out and does not zoom in when speed changes nor when approaching a junction/roundabout etc. I have the auto zoom correction set to “ON”.Also I tried the zoom correction on all settings and it made absolutely no difference to the amount that the map is zoomed in/out.
These are pretty fundamental settings in my opinion and it makes the app very difficult/almost impossible to use.
Am I doing something wrong?

@P1LTS Could it be that you had selected the top-down camera mode in CarPlay?
When set to dynamic / north-up, it should definitely zoom in /out automatically.

@Corjan-Meijerink thanks for the prompt reply. It is definitely not set to top-down camera mode and it does not zoom at all but stays fully zoomed out at all times. From the responses in the EN forum, I am not the only one experiencing this issue neither.
I am sure that you can imaging that this makes the app very, very difficult to use.

Interestingly, I think I may have found the issue. I had the camera selected to "dynamic" mode which should automatically zoom, but it wasn't. If I toggle through all of the camera modes through "top down", "north up" and then back to "dynamic", the auto zoom function appears to work correctly. Not sure why this happens but it does appear to restore the auto zoom functionality.
I just thought that I would share my findings.

Aha… so auto-zoom currently doesn’t work in top-down mode. That explains the zoom-issues during my trip.
Please add auto-zoom for top-down mode in the next release! -

@Corjan-Meijerink ik ben gewend om het scherm in de rijrichting te hebben staan, begrijp ik het goed dat de auto-zoom met Apple Carplay dan niet functioneerd, en dus in "Noord Boven? moet staan ?
