Replying to an older thread. Yes I just took a round trip from Kansas City to Redmond Oregon of about 3900 miles using MRA NEXT app with Apple Carplay with no issues. I just followed with proper procedure of connectin iPhone last at each startup. Anothe trick that I found for quick stops like fueling is to leave my helmet communicator (Sena SRL-Mesh) on, turn the bike to the ACC position to kill the engine. This leaves the nav on, picks right back up when I'm ready to leave on the bike with no interuption in navigation or Carplay

When stopping for fuel, i put my Goldwing also in ACC mode.
De SRL is good match with the Goldwing.
With the SRL3 i can leave the headset powered on while the Goldwing is switched off. My Phone is connected with a cable for Android Auto.

When my helmet is within in bluetooth reach of the Goldwing and switch the Goldwing on. The SRL3 is already connected before the Audio unit tries to connect Android Auto. In fact no hassle. Cardo is more complicated with a Goldwing.
