@Lynchy67 Youtube is not my thing. Never uploaded something.
I will think about using file sharing like Dropbox to share the videos.

From time to time I find it very useful to make some small screen recordings on my iOS devices show how some things are working.
Today I tried to enter one of theses small „videos“ in a post, but the forum tells me, that I don‘t have the sufficient access rights to add the small screen recording.
Is it generally forbidden to add them?
Greetings
Tom
Create the video on Youtube and then place the link to the video in the forum.

In this case, the user needs to download the file first to watch. I would not download a file from anywhere, so not a good idea.
There are not so many alternatives to Youtube, try it? You just need a Google account.
Or: https://filmora.wondershare.de/videobearbeitung/video-hochladen.html
@TomOnTour given previous experiences with users sharing unwanted videos, that is indeed disabled.
Posting images is allowed. You can also upload a gif image which then acts like a (very) short video
@Corjan-Meijerink Far to much hassle for me
@TomOnTour, there are more video sharing platforms available:
https://www.google.com/search?q=share+video+online
Personally, if I would like people to take the hassle to answer my question, I would put in some effort to take away as much of the hassle from them
@TomOnTour yeah, totally understand!
