Navigation Next freeze?

At a certain point during the navigation of the itinerary, the app stopped providing vocal directions, the itinerary changed from blue to grey, the junction was blocked for 5km while the vehicle icon continued to proceed on the road without any signal of warning.
I was traveling on a road under the sky without any obstacles, after about 5km/10 minutes the app started working again, what could have happened?

@Corrado-Miniati-0, What do you mean exactly, were you standing still for a roadblock, but the flyer continued moving forward? And what does it mean when "the itinerary changed from blue to grey". At such occasions I usually take a screenshot. That helps when added to questions like these.

Hi Con and thanks for feedback.
I always take screenshots if I can but I was riding my motorbike and couldn't do it.
The situation is like that of the attachment, the blue road (navigation ok) had become gray but the vehicle cursor was moving while the deviation indication at the top/right remained blocked for 10 minutes.

Did the "detour sign" change into a drop-symbol between curved arrows? That is an indication that a recalculation is in effect. I can imagine that while a calculation is in effect, the blue route line is not shown and therefore the original (grey) color of the road is visible. The fact that the recalculation took so long could indicate a very bad internet bandwidth at that explicit moment. But it is all a bit of educated guesswork

There was no recalculation symbol during the time of the lack of voice alerts and I was driving in the city center where the cell phone signal is at its strongest.
But in any case, if there is no network signal, shouldn't it switch to offline mode?

PS: is the evidence that users transmit in the forum also read by the developers in order to carry out checks and improve the software more and more?

@Corrado-Miniati-0, Yes the app switches to off-line when NO bandwidth is available (I am guessing the check is based on a ping result) but that says little about the available bandwidth. Yes, devs are reading here too. There are plans of changing the online test to a real bandwidth test, and that is exactly the result of them reading here about earlier mentioned problems like yours

I repeatedly have problems with the turn information freezing for miles but my position icon travels the route displaying my position.

I have sen this behaviour when the APP is proposing alternative routes I think :-))
To be honest I realised it, but did not really took care fit.
