Connector does not recognise the XT2?
-
Hi All, I'm trying to use the connector to load MRA routes onto the XT2 (as instructed by Hans) but I constantly get an error, device not found. The XT2 is connected to the Mac via USB-C and sits in file transfer mode. It's detected by Garmin expres but the connector does not see it? any ideas? The only way for me to acces the XT2 is via Android File Transfer and dragging the downloaded routes to the GPX directory. But the MRA connector does not seem to work, or I am doing something wrong. TIA

Garmin „interner Speicher“ \Garmin\GPX
Untitled „Speicherkarte“ \Garmin\GPXIch würde aber jetzt den Umstieg auf diese Lösung empfehlen, so mache ich es jetzt einfach, MRA in der Cradel Halterung und fertig.!!!

Those your XT show in ‘Finder’ on your Mac? -
@Jack-van-Tilburg No, not the XT2.

First make sure there is absolutely no other app connected with your device. For instance Basecamp or Garmin Express.
There may only one app connected and that should be MRA web. And you should see your device on Finder. -
Do you have a microSD card in your XT2 with a GPX folder?
Try to connect without the sd card -
@Jack-van-Tilburg Yes, i made sure that nor Garmin expres nor Android File Transfer is active. Funny thing is that, when AFT is active it immediately sees the XT2 and shows the directory structure. But in Finder it does not.
Also, when I look at system information on the Mac under USB, I do see the XT2 is connected to the USB port. So the Mac itself does recognise the XT2 but it is not shown in Finder and apparently not visible for MRA .

@Hans-van-de-Ven-MRA-Master Hi Hans, no, i dont use a memory card. Funny thing is that, when Android File Transfer is active it immediately recognises the XT2 and shows the directory structure. But in Finder it does not.

A workaround would be to use AFT, I checked and the WP's ar correctly transferred to the XT2. But it's so much handier if I could use MRA directly for the transfer.

@Kenneth-de-Miranda said in Connector does not recognise the XT2?:

I wouldn't know of a better solution right now. Sorry

@Kenneth-de-Miranda This is a well known problem with the ZumoXT as well.
The connector doesn’t work with with a Mac in conjunction with the ZumoXT and/or the ZumoXT 2 due to the fact that both devices are android based units.
I use my IPad and the Garmin Drive app for route transfer to my ZumoXT.
