I've been running beta and I have repeatedly had serious navigation failures. Going along fine then all at once the dreaded two choices (both wrong) comes up. Switching to Navigation then works perfectly.
Volume is not sufficient to be heard.
I think both programs have the issue of needing to many prompts to advance to the final action. Remember, we are wearing gloves that may not have the best ability to function on screen. It should not take so many steps to get to the waypoints. 😵
The friends ~ sharing routes / tracks is confusing and requires too many things to happen on both sides for it to work.
      Do we really need "via's"
      Simplicity is best.
Keep up the good work! 😊

@Fred-Gilbert,Yes we REALLY need via's. That's part of every planner program I ever saw. Maybe you don't need it, but you are not obliged to use it, and the default is a simple shaping point. You are talking about 2 programs, which ones do you actually mean? Only one app is being developed at the moment. I think that in the new Beta, especially with the zoom-buttons that are being developed as we speak (spoiler for next update!), most of the "urgent" functions are just one tap away. Especially in the new app, Friends is ultimately easy. You just add a friend, and you don't even need te share you're route anymore. Simplicity is key, I agree with you, but what app or device do you think is simpler that Myroute-App Mobile?

I am not affiliated with MyRoute-App. The help I am offering is entirely voluntary.
I am just an enthusiastic user, and hope you will be one too!

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebar to the saddle.

@Fred-Gilbert it might help if you were to provide some details about your navigation failures. Version levels on phone, OS, etc. Possibly a couple of screen shots showing issues.

@Doug-Robinson yes, I know. But to stop the trip to accurately document is not possible.
Here's what I know. Android 13. Using latest beta. I (almost) never have a problem with the Navigation app.

I did not know that. My mistake!
