I have found the clock/AZ toggle icon at the top of the Routes lists. The AZ works, sorting list by name, but the other, which assume is length/duration, doesn't. it does change the order, but I can't see any logic to the resulting list.
    Cheers.

I hoped it would sort by departure date, for those routes that have one set, but it doesn’t seem to do that either.

We always set a departure date for the route, mainly through habit from using Basecamp and the BMW Nav VI which showed any routes for today at the top of the list to make finding the correct route easy.

I really do wish there was an option to sort by route departure time.

We often go on multi day trips and always set the departure date/time for planned routes. This is because the BMW Nav would always show the routes in departure time order, but with the route that has departure date/time closest to the current date/time at the top of the list. Now I’m no longer using the Nav, and instead use MRA, I’ve lost that convenience.

Effectively this means that the route you’re looking for is usually at the top of the list of routes, unless you do them in a different order to what you planned.

@Dae-0 My solution is to add the date/time of departure in MyRoute (website) before tranferring the route to my Navigator V. Then, the routes are sorted on my Navigator based on the departure date/time.
Ofter there is a mismatch of 1-2 hrs, but that's not a great problem.

            Hope this helps

That’s what I’ve always done, but don’t use the Nav any more.

That’s why I want MRA Next to display routes sorted by departure time - to replicate the incredibly useful Garmin behaviour

You could put your multi day trips in a folder and then name your routes with a number at the start , 01, 02, 03 etc. Putting them in a folder would make them easy to find and the numbers would put them in order.

                  @Nick-Carthew

It’s doable, but seems daft to have to work around like that when the routes themselves have departure date/time in them.

All my routes are carefully named and organised in folders.

I suppose I’m spoiled by the features I’m used to being very convenient and meaning things are naturally at hand when I need them (today’s routes)

@Nick-Carthew Actually, that is what I also use. So, besides setting the day/time I name the routes starting with a number.
                    E.g.:
                    #01 Trip to Winterberg
                    #02 Trip to Munich

                    Another option could be:
                    230422 Trip to Winterberg
                    230423 Trip to Munich

This way the files are sorted automatically (I hope) 🙂

Thinking about it out loud, what would be great is something like the “last route” button, but which opens the route you should be on based on the current time.

That way you could just start the day’s route without having to navigate the folder structure. That would be really handy on the bike when WunderLINQ functionality is implemented.

I never find touch compatible gloves that accurate (and not all my gloves work, even with tips added), so anything that minimises screen touches is better for me. I’m still getting used to having to sort things out before “gloving up”, which requires undoing decades of muscle memory. I’m used to getting everything sorted, jumping on the bike and just hitting go as the Nav has preempted which route I need and works with any gloves.

@Corjan-Meijerink Thanks for that info. being able to sort by duration or length as you can on the website would be very useful thought. Can it be added to the list for the developers?
