Hello all, my name is Daniël and I'm the head of growth at MyRoute-app. I've been here since the start in 2014 and wrote much of the legacy code in MyRoute-app. We've progressed a long way since that time. Moving from that little study to a small office, making that office more like home and eventually ditching that office to move into an even bigger office.
A nice anecdote about that first office is that when me and Timo got the key, we pulled an all nighter on the first night. Not programming, but making it nicer. With tongs and gardening gloves we cleared the floor of carpet and laid down laminate flooring. Why would such an endeavor take up the entire night you ask? Because we didn't use glue-loosener on the carpet and we laid down the clickable(!!) laminate down the wrong way round, carefully hammering it into place.
