There are many platforms on the web that record, animate and produce content that is very similar to what MRA have launched recently. All of them are pretty seamless and capable of sharing almost instantly.

Why is it that MRA animations are restricted to a single browser (Chrome), presented in a near unusable format initially (.webm) and then take an absolute AGE to convert to MP4?!?!?!?!? If they even work at all?? These are 00's style problems that shouldn't exist in 2021...

      Frustrating!!!!

Because the MRA Animations run live there are other ways to record rather than using the MRA Record functionality.
My preference is to record it live using my iPad Pro’s built in Screen Recorder.
This gives me the recording as 1920x1440 @ 60fps as an MP4.

This is then embedded in my YouTube Vids (with MRA’s permission) which links back to the MRA Public Route so that end users can download the GPX and run the route themselves.

@Ric-Atkinson WebM is open source and free, MP4 requires paying a licence fee. WebM is a Google product which explains why it runs on chrome.

I expect that many of the animations (many trials) are not recorded, hence it makes sense to work with an entirely free format and only move to MP4 requiring paying fees at user request.

Maybe you could try downloading in WebM to your own computer, and then converting to MP4 on your computer; There are a number of such convertors available on the ent.

It is not difficult, it is easy, it's a hobby
