Device not found

Does anyone have a suggestion for this problem.
Ive created a route on MyRoute App's map. Next I try to export it while my TomTom rider 550 is on. I have a Mac so ia m using the Mac connector However when i click export and use the TomTom GPX Rider 1.1 option it simply advises No Device Found. Its driving me crazy -

Ive created a route on MyRoute App's map. Next I try to export it while my TomTom rider 550 is on. I have a Mac so ia m using the Mac connector However when i click export and use the TomTom GPX Rider 1.1 option it simply advises No Device Found. Its driving me crazy@robert-handyside If it helps I use the BMW Garmin Navigator VI. I have to wait a couple of minutes for the Mac to recognise the GPS is connected. May be that maybe the same for your tom tom!!

Its driving me crazy@robert-handyside If you have a TomTom ‘MyDrive’ account choose ‘Save as’ and then select ‘TomTom MyDrive beta’ you’ll be asked to sign into your ‘MyDrive’ account and the the route will be on your TomTom wirelessly via the cloud. No need to plug in.
